Purchase
To complete the transaction you will need the title for your vehicle.
When you're ready to accept your appraisal offer, please make sure you bring all the proper paperwork and accessories for your vehicle.
1. Title: the title must be provided at the time of sale
If you have an outstanding loan, we will need to contact your lender during business hours to get a fifteen-day payoff. To get the payoff, we will need:
- Your lender's name and phone number
- The name(s) on the account
- The account and/or social security numbers
If all titleholders cannot be present, please plan to make arrangements with us in advance. We may be able to accept a Power of Attorney allowing someone else to sign on behalf of the absent titleholder. We must be able to keep the original Power of Attorney so it can be attached to the title. If you are selling a vehicle on behalf of a company, please let us know so we can help outline any additional steps that may be involved. If this a leased vehicle, we will need some verbal confirmation of the payoff amount before we can purchase your vehicle. Please note that some leasing companies will not allow you to sell the vehicle prior to the expiration of the lease.
2. Valid Registration: a valid and current car registration document acknowledges that you own the vehicle.
3. Photo ID: all titleholders should bring valid state-issued photo IDs to prove identity.
4. Owner's manual: please make sure to leave your owner's manual in the glove box before selling your car.
5. Keys and remote: please bring all extra keys and any keyless entry devices.
6. Questions: if anything regarding this transaction is unclear, please make sure to contact us ahead of time so we can provide clarification and peace of mind.
Note: You will be paid with a company check.
